S-11 Gongendo-bank in Sep. Cluster amaryllis

Today, on 25th, Sep, 2022 was sunny day after typhoon went through the Japan. This is the season of cluster amaryllis in Japan. Gongendo-tsutsumi(bank) is well known bank for seasonal flowers and this time many people were gathering there to watch them in full bloom. I’ve loved this deep autumn red carpet from my childhood.
As usual, I took Edo-river bank to go toward Gongendo-bank. The distance from my home was 44km but thanks to good weather, I could reach in 100min.
This flower can be seen here and there in Japan in this season but such huge carpet is rare.
